Horseshoe Bend
Horseshoe Bend is a part of the Glen Canyon Recreational Area and is located just outside of Page, Arizona and is one of the most breathtaking natural landscapes in America. This social media icon, carved by the Colorado River into a horseshoe-shaped curve in ancient sandstone, creates a view that is absolutely remarkable.
When you visit Horseshoe Bend you will be in awe at the panoramic vistas where you will view above the cliffs of 1,000 feet as you take in the view the emerald, green river below. As you stand on the edge, taking in the dramatic landscape, the colors of the desert will create a beautiful backdrop to an unforgettable day. As you enjoy this unforgettable view, remember there are no railings to protect you from the high cliffs. (except there is one area with a railing to take your picture)

Hours: daily from sunrise to sunset
Parking is on city land and there is a charge of $10 for car or RV, $35 for van/buses up to 14 people. Cash and credit cards accepted except on holidays where they accept cash only.
No parking on highway 89, vehicles will be towed
Pets are allowed if on a leash
No drones allowed
Hiking to Horseshoe Bend
Hiking is required to view Horseshoe Bend. This is a relatively easy flat path and is accessible for wheelchairs. There are two covered pavilions along the path to stop and rest. This is a 1.5 miles round trip hike.
During the summer, this area can become extremely hot so come prepared with plenty of water and sunscreen.
