Reef Plunge

Reef Plunge is an amazing waterslide that takes you on an adventure underwater where you get to view marine wildlife swimming all around you.

42” minimum height

Wave Pools

Enjoy two different wave pools at Aquatica. Cutback Cove pool is always full of action with its constant moving of waves while Big Surf Shores wave pool has times where the water is calm making it the perfect place to relax especially with younger children.

Life jackets

Like jackets are available for children or those who are not strong swimmers to use throughout the park. These are located in different areas throughout the park and are free to use.

Lounge chairs

There are ample loungers throughout the park giving you the opportunity to relax while the older kids enjoy the park or after a long day of swimming. Take time and relax on your trip to Aquatica Orlando using one of the many loungers located around the park. Some of the loungers are in sitting in the sand giving that warm beach vibe you are looking for.

I did want to mention that at one point the police were involved as some kids were stealing things from individuals who left their personal items on their loungers while they were away so always keep valuable hidden.

Cabanas

Upgrade your day with cabanas that are available throughout the park for an additional fee. Prices range from $59 to $199. In cabana food and beverage service, towels, refrigerator and other amenities are included.

KareKare Curl

This exciting water slide is perfect for those looking for a thrill. Starting 50 feet high, you will travel through the tunnel and then “curl” up the side wall 35 feet before plunging into the final tube that leads you to the catch pool. Such a fun experience you can enjoy with your family or best friends.

When you are getting ready to ride this slide and the Wahalla Wave ride, they will weigh you as the cumulative weight for this ride is 750 (600 for the Wahalla Wave) pounds total. Just be prepared to be weighed in front of everyone.

2-5 riders per tube, no single riders.

48 inches minimum height

Loggerhead Lane

Need to relax for a bit after riding all of the water slides or cool off in the calm waters after basking in the sun? Spend some time relaxing in the Loggerhead Lane lazy river. Grab a tube and enjoy this slow-paced lazy river.

Any age can participate but it is recommended that those under 48 inches wear a life jacket which is provided.

Roa’s Rapids

My absolute favorite thing to do at Aquatica was to swim in Roa’s Rapids. This is like a lazy river only way more fun. No tubes allowed for this experience. Children under 51 inches or those who are not strong swimmers are highly recommended to wear a provided life jacket during this experience.

Roa’s Rapids provides a fast lazy river where the current will quickly guide you through the river. We wore a life jacket at times just to float easier along the rapids. The water is 3 feet 9 inches but moves really fast and is such an exciting adventure. Teens will love this fast moving river!

You can get off and on the rapids, just as you would a lazy river.
