Campsite

Our campsite felt secluded with the multiple trees surrounding it, but yet campers were nearby. Our campsite was spacious and was within walking distance of the shower house. There was parking available in front of the shower house if you prefer to drive there. Our site was #3 and had 50/30/20 amps for electric. We stayed here July 2023 for your reference.

Shower house and restrooms

The shower house was as clean as expected for a campground setting. The showers had warm water and there were about 3 showers and 3 toilets. Located just outside the restrooms was a washer and dryer for your convivence.

Lakeside campsites

Our campsite was not lake side, but I wanted to show you the beautiful view you could have if you chose a lakeside spot. Those spots contained the same amenities as ours did but provided an exceptional lake view surrounded by trees.

Poole Knobs Campground map

Here is the map of the campground for your reference. There are three restrooms located throughout the campground and two shower houses. As stated above, our campsite was #3 which was close enough we could walk to the restrooms.

As you hear the campfire crackle softly while nestled in your chair, surrounded by family or sitting solo, you can enjoy this little slice of peace in nature creating the perfect escape from everyday life. Whether you enjoy fishing, hiking, or just simply sitting at your campsite, you will find solitude in this smaller campground.

Take time to enjoy the simple things in life.

Enjoy the journey,
