The Starbucks Reserve Roastery opened in November 2019 and boasts 5 stories across 35,000 square feet. The first Starbucks opened in 1971 in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. Each floor at the Chicago roastery has its own distinct experience and hand-crafted cocktails and coffee. This is the perfect location for coffee enthusiasts who have a passion for Starbucks’ exceptional coffee flavors.

Coffee Beans
As you probably have imagined, they do roast their own coffee beans at this location. As you are transported to each floor on the uniquely designed escalator, you can view the large 56-foot cask where the coffee beans go to rest after the roasting process. The process is something beautiful and the smell of coffee beans fill the air.
Starbucks take home souvenirs
You will have the opportunity to sample the newest coffee flavor, for us it was the new Oleato olive oil that was just introduced. I cannot say that I enjoyed the flavor, but it was a unique experience to be one of the first ones to try this new creation.
Purchase some signature coffee, or other souvenir to take home from mugs to bags to tumblers of all sizes. There is sure to be the perfect gift for any coffee lover.
Reserve Coffee Bar
Enjoy your favorite coffee at the Reserve Coffee Bar on the 1st floor as you enter this massive Starbucks where you can sample coffee from around the world. Stop by for a hot or cold coffee, latte, spritz, tea and more. Sample your favorite eggs or fruit while you sip on your drink. No Starbucks Refreshers can be found here but there are multiple other options to choose from.
