So You’ve Moved…Now What?

After we moved our family halfway across the US I realized there were a lot of details that still needed to be done. Moving is one thing and a lot of preparation and work but even after you are at your new home you have plenty more things to add to your to-do list.

I knew remembering everything would be a challenge. I kept forgetting some of the things that I needed to accomplish and would remember weeks later. Slowly I accomplished my list of to-do’s although it took me longer than it should have. I wish I had this list when I moved.

To make our next move easier and to help others who plan to make a move I have made a list you can use as a reminder of the details needed once you are in your new home. I hope you can use this list for your next move. Although this list is not exhaustive it is a good place to start.
